Zero-Waste
Vancouver Island’s Own is a plastic-free company. We are proud of our efforts to keep plastic on our planet to a minimum, and are happy to announce there are zero plastics used in the packaging and distribution of our products! We have consciously and carefully selected suppliers who share the same values. In an effort to produce zero waste, we use glass jars to house our delicious trail mixes and granolas, including our bulk-sized containers!
Unlike plastic pouches which often come half-full, we fill our jars to maximum capacity in an effort to provide you with the most bang for your buck, and eliminate unnecessary plastic waste. From certified organic, locally sourced ingredients to our low-carbon-emitting delivery methods, we have done our best to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible, and are always looking for ways in which to improve our process.
